Important Notes
Installing these fans is straightforward, but they do require a power supply to operate. Here’s what you need to know:
The included 4-meter, 3mm-diameter wire is slim enough to fit through even the smallest fridge drain holes.
For optimal performance, we recommend connecting the fan system to your fridge’s power supply, which should already be linked to your van’s battery management system.
If your fridge’s power supply isn’t accessible, the fans can also be connected directly to your van’s battery management system.
If you’re unsure about wiring installation, it’s best to consult a qualified auto electrician or a caravan repair specialist for assistance.

Is the Klevacool Compact Single Internal Fan suitable for compressor fridges under 100 litres?
Yes. The Compact Single Internal Compressor Fridge Fan is designed for smaller compressor fridges under 100 litres, where there's enough room to mount the fan towards the rear of the cabinet.
For compressor fridges over 100 litres, use our Twin Internal Fan instead.
What's the difference between the Compact Single and Adjustable Internal Fan?
The Compact Single is designed for smaller compressor fridges with enough room at the rear of the cabinet for the fan to be mounted there.
The Adjustable Internal Fan is better suited to smaller fridges with a compressor bulge inside the cabinet. It mounts on the bulge, making use of space that's otherwise hard to use. The Adjustable version also lets you change the airflow direction to suit the fridge layout.
Why does the Compact Single fan blow air at an angle?
The Compact Single directs the air slightly upwards and towards the rear of the fridge to encourage circulation through the cabinet.
It also directs the airflow towards the cold plate or freezer section, where it does the most good.
Should I choose the left-hand or right-hand mounting version?
Choose the version that suits the mounting space inside your fridge.
Before ordering, have a look at the rear of the fridge cabinet and work out which side gives the fan enough clearance without interfering with shelves, food or the door.
How much room do I need inside my fridge to fit the Compact Single fan?
The Compact Single measures approximately 128mm x 103mm x 46mm.
Check the dimensional drawing and measure the available space inside your fridge before ordering. Fridge interiors vary between brands and models, so it's better to measure than assume it'll fit.
Will the Compact Single fan fit a chest fridge?
No. It's designed for upright compressor fridges and isn't compatible with chest fridges.
Do I need to drill holes in my fridge to install the Compact Single fan?
No. The fan assembly mounts using removable double-sided adhesive strips, so there's no need to drill into the fridge cabinet.
Will the Compact Single fan help with warm areas at the bottom of my compressor fridge?
Yes. It circulates cold air through the cabinet, instead of letting the colder air stay concentrated around the cold plate or freezer section.
That reduces temperature differences between different parts of the fridge, particularly when natural air circulation is poor.
Does the Compact Single fan run all the time?
It can run continuously, or you can use the thermostat to control when it switches on and off.
It can also be wired to the compressor fan output, if you'd prefer the internal fan to run only while the fridge compressor is running.
How much power does the Compact Single fan use?
It draws about 0.1A with the fan running, which works out to a maximum of 2.4Ah a day if it ran continuously. When the thermostat has the fan switched off, it draws about 40mA.
